Compensation: $75,000-$90,000 annually DOE

About the Opportunity
Highly respected national law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Phoenix office. This position will support four attorneys in a busy commercial and business litigation practice.
Known for its strong reputation in Arizona and growing national presence, the firm offers the opportunity to work alongside accomplished attorneys handling sophisticated business disputes in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation Support & Docket Management
- Manage heavy calendaring, docketing, and scheduling for multiple attorneys
- Track court deadlines and litigation milestones to ensure timely filings and compliance
- Coordinate attorney schedules, meetings, and case-related deadlines
Court Filings & Document Management
- Prepare, proofread, organize, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
- Submit filings through state and federal e-filing systems
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
- Prepare trial notebooks, case notebooks, file backers, indexes, and related materials
Attorney & Client Support
- Coordinate conflict checks and assist with engagement and retention documentation
- Answer and route calls and communications to attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Support attorneys with administrative and litigation-related tasks
- Track attorney CLE requirements and related records
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate projects with other departments throughout the firm
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of legal administrative assistant experience supporting civil litigation practices
- Extensive state and federal court e-filing experience is required
- Significant docketing and calendaring experience is required
- Commercial or business litigation experience strongly preferred
- Experience working at a national or large local law firm is a plus
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including:
- Word (including Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities)
- PDF creation and editing
- Experience with iManage or similar document management systems preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest professional standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
